TOURISM. Sassetta has touristic and accommodation facilities mainly in the countryside. The agro-touristic farms are plenty and there is good sports equipment such as tennis courts, swimming polls and a riding school.

The accommodation facilities are further made up of hotels, restaurants, pizzerias and private flats for rent. In the village's restaurants you can taste the following local dishes: pappardelle with wild boar or hare, tortelli of ricotta and vegetables, wild boar "sassetana" or stewed with olives, marinated mushrooms, tuscan pecorino, home made pies and chestnut jam. You can always buy genuine gastronomical products such as wild boar meat, sausages, mushrooms, chestnuts and excellent local wines.
